Frontier Gandhi Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan is also known as Sarhadee (Frontier) Gandhi. He is the one among the close associate of Mahatma Gandhi Ji, both have struggled a lot against Communalism. He is the founder of an organisation “Khudai Khidmatgar”- Servants of God.
The aim of the organisation was to empower the marginalised people through education and struggle. His top priority in building the national freedom movements with non violent ideology and inclusive actions. Effective thought process to liberate the people from slavery was the prime focus of Khan Sahib. His association with Gandhi Ji, Indian National Congress, various International Leaders have inspired lot to the present generation to work in the society effectively.
Keeping his ideology as a role model we have reviewed Khudai Khidmatgar in 2011 in India. Since a decadal journey it has more than 10,000 Cadres across India and presence of units in all the states and also in abroad.
Every year we organise a event to remember his ideals and engage with the youths, Women, Academicians, Civil Societies and various people in the society.
This year we have planned to convene a memorial seminar on 21st January 2023 in Dharwar. We request you to join this program to remember and promote the inclusive and democratic values in the society.
